Privacy Policy
Kave Builders is a family owned basement company in Calgary, Alberta, run by Muzna and Murad. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We follow Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Last updated October 2026.
WHAT WE COLLECT AND WHY
When you book a consultation or send us a message, we ask for your name, phone number, email address, home address, the kind of project you have in mind, the days and times that suit you, a budget range, and anything else you choose to tell us.
We use this information only to reply to you, arrange and prepare for your consultation, put together your plan and quote, and keep in touch about your project. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Like most websites, ours also records basic technical details such as your browser, device and the pages you visit, through cookies set by our website platform. This keeps the site working properly and shows us how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well without them.
HOW WE STORE, SHARE AND PROTECT IT
Our website and booking forms run on Wix.com, which stores the information you submit on secure servers that may be located outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country.
We share your details only with people who help us deliver your project, such as a designer, engineer or trade working on your home, and only what they need for that work. We may also share information when the law requires it.
We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you, to support you after your project is finished, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. After that we delete it.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent for us to use it. To do any of these, or if you have a question about this policy, email kavebuilders@outlook.com or call (403) 466-4789. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
