Accessibility Statement
We want every family to be able to find what they need on our website, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive tools. This statement explains what we have done and how to reach us if something does not work for you. Last updated October 2026.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard most widely used in Canada. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we review the site as we add new pages and projects.
What we have done
Our pages use a clear heading structure so they are easy to follow with a screen reader. The site can be used with a keyboard, the layout adjusts for phones, tablets and computers, and you can zoom in without losing content.
We choose text sizes and colours with readability in mind, and we are adding text descriptions to our project photos as we publish them.
Content from other providers
Some parts of the site come from outside providers, such as our booking calendar and contact form. We choose tools that support accessibility, but we cannot fully control how they behave. If any of them gives you trouble, call or email us and we will book your consultation directly.
Your consultation visit
Our consultations take place in your home, at a time that suits you. If you need any adjustment for that visit, such as extra time, written notes or a particular way of communicating, let us know when you book and we will gladly arrange it.
Tell us if something is not working
If part of this site is hard to use, or you would like information in another format, please let us know. Email kavebuilders@outlook.com or call or text (403) 466-4789, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 8pm Calgary time.
Tell us the page and the problem, and we will reply as soon as we can and fix it where we are able.
